Rohingya men and women suffer from preventable blindness

Self Development Initiative (SDI), with the generous support of UKIM, has successfully launched an Eye Cataract Surgery Campaign for the Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Thousands of displaced Rohingya men and women suffer from preventable blindness due to untreated cataracts. Through this initiative, SDI and UKIM are helping to restore sight and bring light back into their lives enabling them to see their loved ones, regain independence, and live with dignity. Together, we’re turning compassion into clear vision.
